  • Oral Tests: Recitation of the taught rules so far; closed‑book; timed
  • Theory Tests: Written tests on learned rules; closed‑book; timed

✓ Grading Criteria / Rubrics

  • Minimum 80% required in each test to pass
  • Passing the grand oral and theory tests is necessary to pass the course

✓ Feedback Mechanism

Written and verbal feedback after each homework/test

✓ Proctoring Requirements

Tests are proctored in the presence of teacher and mentors

The Instructor

Humera Faisal

As the Tajweed Module Instructor at Quest since 2015, this individual brings a robust foundation in Islamic studies from Al‑Ilm Institute and specialized Tajweed training from a Medina‑trained teacher. Continuously supervised by Tajweed instructors, they are deeply committed to Quranic memorization, having completed Surah Al‑Baqarah, and previously served as Tajweed group in‑charge at the Rihla Program.
